Top 4 Summer Fashion Trends

Summer – when those warm breezes start to gently blow – is always a fabulous time of year. Summer is a time of fun and enjoyment, and what better way to reflect the season than to wear the latest fashion trends.

Whether you enjoy the latest designer clothes or vintage looks, these four top summer fashion trends will satisfy any style.

The Sheer Maxi Dress
This fashion trend is a blend of two separate trends that have combined to create a new take on the maxi dress. Women love the free-flowing feel of this type of dress. Combine that with sheer, see-through materials and you have a striking combination.

Lace
This latest summer trend is actually not new, having been around for many seasons. Lace is a classic material for women’s clothes, and has always found a place in just about every seasonal trend. Lace can easily be combined with the maxi dress to create a great look. Lace is also popular with tops and shorter skirts.

Plunging Necklines
What better way to beat the summer heat than with a plunging, sexy neckline? This trend may not be for everyone. Modesty aside, most women can find a neckline that is spectacular and comfortable.

Pleats
While pleats are often thought of as a perpetual fashion statement, this summer’s pleated fashions can be either edgy or smooth. Many fashion observers state that this year’s pleats trend will extend into the future.

As you can see, there are many trends and it shouldn’t be difficult to find one that suits you. Check out your favorite local women’s clothes sale and enjoy the summer in style.

Recurring Trends

Fashion was born when woman came into existence. Since then, creativity took charge and fashion has seen several seasons, swaying to the changing mindsets of people. The Kings and Queens of ancient times were draped in robes of exquisite fabrics intricately designed by Royal tailors. That was centuries ago. Does that mean the clothes we wear today bear no resemblance to ancient times? A peek into the history of fashion says “no.”

The point is, though people die, fashion never dies. It repeats itself time after time. Skirts and gowns were in fashion ages ago, then they were out of fashion and then they came back into fashion. That is just one example. There are so many other outfits that have repeated themselves. The case is similar with men’s clothing. Fashion goes in circles- big circles and small circles, uneven circles and disjointed circles. Eventually, it goes back to square one. At present, we often wear a modified and funkier version of what our ancestors wore. So does this mean the ocean of creativity is not really the ocean that it seems to be? Not precisely. We cannot blame our designers for not being entirely creative when it is the same body they need to create clothing for day after day, year after year. We experiment with natural fabrics and synthetics. We try different cuts, embellishments, prints and whatever we can lay our hands on. As long as it is appealing to our eyes right now, it is fashion. Well we still have two hands and two legs don’t we? Bumping into old fashion is unavoidable after all.

What?s in a price tag?

It is a universal fact that most women try to bargain for everything that they buy, be it vegetables, clothes, essentials, linens, furniture or anything else. They always want the best bargain. Well why not? They ask. It is my money and I want to make sure I get the best value for my money. That is an unbeatable question.

Cosmetics, fashion accessories and designer clothes are at times priced so high that it makes us wonder whether they have been mined from the earth or brought from outer space. This is why the wise woman chooses to shop during a sale. She always has her eye on the advertisement column and jumps at the first opportunity to buy at half the price the same clothes that the others bought the previous week for the original price. Now isn’t that called being clever?

Good clothes do cost a lot and branded clothes are exceptionally expensive. But a little patience and a lot of enquiring do the trick. Of late, a lot of websites provide free information about all kinds of offers available on clothes and accessories and other related things. All you need to do is register on one of these sites and you will have access to half-price offers you never even knew existed. The offers available are quite appealing to fashionable women who do not want to blow a hole in their pockets. Why pay full price this week when you can get your favorite designs at a lower price next week.

Bonding with the Brand

Every woman’s wardrobe is a result of the creativity and effort of several hundred designers. An average woman changes her outlook on fashion with every passing phase of her life. Fashion has always been more of a necessity than a desire. Dress began to reflect personality and personality reflected being unique. This is exactly why being unique matters so much to a woman who carefully chooses what she wears each day. However, is it even possible to be unique in a sea of people and have an identity of your own? Does your manner of dress really reflect the person that you are?

The answer is yes. And many have understood this fact, which is why designers have neither run out of business, nor have they run out of creativity. When women go shopping, the general complaint is that they think and think some more until finally, they are satisfied with the outfit they purchase. Other women are very specific about the brand of clothes they wear and still others are specific about the designers who create their clothes. Doesn’t all of this point towards something more? Are women just too choosy or do they have too much time to kill? Neither. Women like to bond with what they wear. Every dress reflects a lady’s mood, which is why, at times, a cupboard full of clothes does not satisfy a moody woman. So as long as women are particular about what they wear-which is forever- brands will continue to be in demand. Clothes are not just clothes anyway are they?
